The Art of George Little and David Lewis is beautiful and apparently worthy of of a book featuring their their studio and garden. While I have not seen the book itself, the work featured on their website is beautiful and exciting.
Little and Lewis are known internationally as sculptors and gardeners and their Bainbridge Island, WA garden is a famed place I long to visit.
Inspired by nature, they frequently take inspiration for forms from the garden as in the Chanterelle chair….
…and these Tetrapanax and Gunnera leaf sculptures – which are really my favorite. I find them simply breathtaking. Lewis and Little can be contacted through their website and their book is also available for a discount when purchased from them directly.
Looks like we may be too late too visit their studio in WA as their blog says they have sold it and its now a private residence. They live in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico and have a house to rent there. SM is , however, another destination that has great arts community and Botanical gardens. Loved the post- really lovely work!!
Thanks
Love that mushroom – which reminds me to get out and photograph some!
todo hermoso me encantaría saber como se hacen o dictan talleres vía web
