Standing at 7 meters tall (roughly 23 ft) this pergola, designed by Denton Corker Marshall for the South Bank Parklands in Queensland Australia is really blowing my mid this morning. It’s huge, it’s sculptural, it provides structure for beautiful bouganvilla, and most interestingly, it is, itself a planter as well.

Quite wonderful in its architectural/ organic form. Reminds me of whale rib cage or something monumental but imaginative. Id love to walk thru that space.
