Before & After: A Xeriscaped Front Yard in Texas

before, texas, front yard, makeover, upgrade

This week we’re heading down south to check out this huge front yard & exterior makeover in Texas. I found Heather’s blog, Xeristyle, earlier this week and when I saw this dated facade, I knew the transformation had to be big. And considering the title of the blog, I had a feeling that they probably got rid of the grass and maybe did a few things to the house to go along with the new landscape. Well, they did, and here is where they are now…

xeriscape, landscape, front yard, texas, no grass

This is the most recent photo that Heather has, taken just a couple weeks ago. As you can see, they did a ton of work to the house and the yard. All their hard work has paid off- it definitely feels like the home of a young, hip couple now! I especially like those flowering magenta colored shrubs and all the different grasses. Check out Heather’s blog to see more! -erin

WOW, this one might be my favorite. What a great transformation! The before was just so wrong for the house. Good job!
