Before & After: An NW6 Cleanout

I love featuring garden makeovers like this sometimes….it’s not an expensive update, it is simply the result of pruning, clearing, maintaining and planting a little patch of grass and a few containers.  Totally Achievable.

I spent a year in NW6 where this garden is…I was pregnant (which I hated) and we lived in a flat (which I also hated) that overlooked a garden very similar to this….

If only my land lady could have spent a couple days with Living Gardens (who did this work) and spruced up the place….sometimes it’s more about what you take out than what you put in.

Hi, I'm Rochelle and for 18 years I have worked as a landscape designer, author/writer, and design teacher. I've designed residential and hospitality (for hotels, restaurants, and spas) gardens across the USA and in the UK, Europe and the Middle East. After many years of teaching garden design topics in person, I launched the PITH + VIGOR Boot Camp series in early 2018. Through my blog, social media, and online courses (Garden Design Bootcamp and Planting Design Boot Camp) I aim to help homeowners learn how to confidently design and create home gardens that reflect their own personal and unique style.

Very elegant – thanks for showing an example of good garden editing.

Thanks for featuring us – really appreciated. We love doing this sort of work, we find it really satisfying how much of a difference it’s possible to make in a relatively short amount of time.

Arythrina – garden editing is a great way of putting it. Thanks.
