Apologies for the less that clear ‘after’ shot, but I couldn’t help myself….it is obviously still a beautiful transformation made by the Friends of the Urban Forest in San Francisco.

Hi, I'm Rochelle and for 18 years I have worked as a landscape designer, author/writer, and design teacher. I've designed residential and hospitality (for hotels, restaurants, and spas) gardens across the USA and in the UK, Europe and the Middle East. After many years of teaching garden design topics in person, I launched the PITH + VIGOR Boot Camp series in early 2018. Through my blog, social media, and online courses (Garden Design Bootcamp and Planting Design Boot Camp) I aim to help homeowners learn how to confidently design and create home gardens that reflect their own personal and unique style.

I am pretty sure that was done by PlantSF (www.plantsf.org) and not by FUF.

This is such a great transformation and really improves the area. Anytime you can add life to the streets like that, I think people enjoy walking much more. I developed my city property in front of my house, and when people walk by they tell me how thay always include my street on their walking route – even if it is out of thier way!
