Before & After Garden: Summer & Autumn in NY

Do you feel fall in the air?  Autumn is my favorite season, but I feel as if it is simply coming too soon this year.  I have just not had my fill of summer.  I see the signs of change though and when I found this before at after over at brownstoner, I thought I would share it to get us all in the mood.  It is such a great example of plants that look great in multiple seasons and how dramatically the garden changes.

I would so enjoy sitting here in the cool crisp fall air sipping a nice cup of tea and reading a magazine or book.  I love the wall color too.  It really setts the plants off nicely don’t you think?

Hi, I'm Rochelle and for 18 years I have worked as a landscape designer, author/writer, and design teacher. I've designed residential and hospitality (for hotels, restaurants, and spas) gardens across the USA and in the UK, Europe and the Middle East. After many years of teaching garden design topics in person, I launched the PITH + VIGOR Boot Camp series in early 2018. Through my blog, social media, and online courses (Garden Design Bootcamp and Planting Design Boot Camp) I aim to help homeowners learn how to confidently design and create home gardens that reflect their own personal and unique style.
