I should just go ahead and feature the Bardessono hotel as a garden destination…I will get to that. But first I want to keep celebrating the interesting work that some garden pros have done there. Bertotti Landscape Built this great walkway. I love the mix…flagstone, to wood, to poured concrete. Black rocks mix with sleek planting. Study the details….it is what makes this all so interesting. You might remember this is the same place that Flora Grubb installed the vertical tillandsia garden.

This firm also give A LOT to the local professional community and the general community at large.

If you want to see an interesting landscape which completely hides the hotel you should see Homini Boutique Hotel in the Cradle of Mankind just outside Johannesburg and the beautiful new winery and boutique hotel which replaced the old at Delaire winery in Stellenboch owned by Mr Graff of Graff Diamonds in London. Both are Fabulous and very different, another completely different garden in CapeTown owned by the lady who owns 4 boutique hotels in different countries. All of them stunning in their special way.
