I have no idea what happened…but I just realized that this garden — which I thought I posted on Tuesday night – simply disappeared and I guess never was viewed. Perhaps and early April fool? So I will have an extra post today…. Happy April!
Anyway, here it is now….and it is really great. The garden belongs to Ohio based milliner Amy Hamilton and her artist husband.
Amy’s hats (sold under the label Granville Millinery) have been widely featured in magazines like Vogue and O but I think her garden is just as worthy of celebration. If you check out her website you will however see that many of her fashion photo shoots use her garden for a backdrop.
If you are interested in learning to make hats (or just want an excuse to be able to hang out here) Amy offers hat making classes in the studio (on the left).
I am trying to figure out what those beautiful tables are made of….metal? Does anyone know where these can be purchased?
The garden is equally beautiful in the winter (painting by Amy’s talented husband).
