A Rustic Hellebore Arrangement

rope flower arrangeing

I think I need to try this arrangement out.  The rustic nature of the rope wrapped around the root ball; just enough to keep it together is beautiful and so precisely right for the season.

The hellebores that I planted last season right out side my kitchen window are buried in about 15 inches of snow now.  I hope that, true to their word, they will find a way to poke through in a few months with beautiful flowers such as this one.

I've designed residential and hospitality (for hotels, restaurants, and spas) gardens across the USA and in the UK, Europe and the Middle East. Some lovely plantings here – and throughout the blog – and I like this ripoe arrangement. I especially like the purple berries on the callicarpa which is a ne wplant to me. Very pretty.
