Garden Girl Seeds for Urban Gardeners

At the NE Grows show yesterday, I met Patti Moreno, the Garden Girl.  She had a lovely stand and since I am a sucker for beautiful packaging, I was drawn to it immediately.   Lucky for me that there is a lot more to what she is doing that just pretty packaging.   Her website is full of video how-to’s for urban gardeners but my favorite line was her seeds.   She has a beautifully packaged heirloom seed collection each of which is directed towards growing your own food.  There is the American Kitchen Garden for growing Shaker Medicinal herbs (pictured) as well as the Italian kitchen garden , the Latin Caribbean Kitchen garden, the French Kitchen garden, and the Asian Kitchen garden.

Each set is a great combination of plants – below are all of the Shaker Medicinal Herbs.

American Shaker Garden Mix
1. Wild Marjoram, 2. lemon balm blossom, 3. Untitled, 4. Feverfew, 5. Beauty In The River Bottoms I, 6. Wild Bee Balm (Lemon Mint) IV

Hi, I'm Rochelle and for 18 years I have worked as a landscape designer, author/writer, and design teacher. I've designed residential and hospitality (for hotels, restaurants, and spas) gardens across the USA and in the UK, Europe and the Middle East. After many years of teaching garden design topics in person, I launched the PITH + VIGOR Boot Camp series in early 2018. Through my blog, social media, and online courses (Garden Design Bootcamp and Planting Design Boot Camp) I aim to help homeowners learn how to confidently design and create home gardens that reflect their own personal and unique style.
