Mike & Marissa’s Plants

Marissa writes a blog called Vanilla Bean Knits and she is in the blogging class that I am taking. Cruising around and meeting my classmates, I came across this very clever drawing she made about all her houseplants. To see the full post click here. I wanted to share it with you, because I think it is so charming. I would hang this on my wall. And I love how it chronicles their health, their origin and what they look like. I am inspired to make one for myself, though I know that my own doodle-y art work will never live up to the charm of Marissa’s.

Hi, I'm Rochelle and for 18 years I have worked as a landscape designer, author/writer, and design teacher. I've designed residential and hospitality (for hotels, restaurants, and spas) gardens across the USA and in the UK, Europe and the Middle East. After many years of teaching garden design topics in person, I launched the PITH + VIGOR Boot Camp series in early 2018. Through my blog, social media, and online courses (Garden Design Bootcamp and Planting Design Boot Camp) I aim to help homeowners learn how to confidently design and create home gardens that reflect their own personal and unique style.

That is so sweet of you, Rochelle! Now you’re reminding me that I need to hang this up, and may need more room for additional plants 😉

You should do one anyway, it’s a lot of fun, and was a good way to remember where all my plants came from as well.
