I pride myself on going off the road of predictability….shunning ubiquity and liking things sometimes just because other don’t. I go to great lengths to avoid eating in corporate restaurants (though I have a dirty little ‘outback steakhouse ‘ secret) and I avoid malls — with one main exception. I love Anthropologie. I am an un-deniable sucker for their ability to make me feel like I am somehow different from the millions of other 30-something women who also love anthropologie. It can make me a little annoyed with myself. The same people have now created Terrain – the first of what is meant to be the garden version of Anthropologie. I am sure it will be good; the website is interesting; and now I will have two dirty little secrets.

Hi, I'm Rochelle and for 18 years I have worked as a landscape designer, author/writer, and design teacher. I've designed residential and hospitality (for hotels, restaurants, and spas) gardens across the USA and in the UK, Europe and the Middle East. After many years of teaching garden design topics in person, I launched the PITH + VIGOR Boot Camp series in early 2018. Through my blog, social media, and online courses (Garden Design Bootcamp and Planting Design Boot Camp) I aim to help homeowners learn how to confidently design and create home gardens that reflect their own personal and unique style.
