The garden’s of artists always seem to have a little something special and this one is no exception. This garden belongs to Amy Rice. The tapestry painted shed is not only a fun backdrop to her dahlias, zinnias and marigolds, but it also serves as a photo shoot backdrop for her beautiful art work. You can check out her website to buy some of her work.
I am curious to know what you think of this gallery feature…can you see all 7 images of this great garden? I am playing around with it and possibly upgrading to other better gallery widgets ( do you have one you like?). Is it a pain to click through? make sure you take a look at the image that says July……when you click through you get a panorama of the inspiring progression of her dahlia and zinnia garden as it grows through the summer.
I’m liking the gallery feature and the beautiful pictures. It’s super easy to click through to the big images. Love the panorama. What widget did you use? Still fairly new to this blogging stuff.
Megan — I am using the gallery feature in wordpress. not sure what version I am on — but something pretty recent as I upgraded earlier this year.
I’m on a Macintosh, and I don’t know if that makes a difference, but I find I have to click backwards from each large image to the thumbnails page before I can go to the next large image. It would be easier to click “Next.” Nice blog. I’ve just visited it for the first time today.
Amanda — thanks for the help — I am on a mac too – but nonetheless it is still sometimes different. I agree — that would be a lot better…I am not sure how to make that work — but am going to see what I can do. best – R
