I’m looking for a new place to work. My old beloved cafe recently closed and the new tenants are rather adamantly anti-WIFI. It is a sentiment I find slightly outrageous if you want to make it in the neighborhood cafe category — it is enough to make me wish for the failure of this local business (did I say that? yes I did, I am already annoyed with them). Am I being a pain in the butt who just misses her old hang out, or do we have a right to WiFi?
Keeping with my French inspiration for the day….what do you think of these WiFi stations by French designer Mathieu Lehanneur and sponsored by outdoor advertising company JCDecaux? I don’t think I can get a delicous breakfast burrito and a coffee there, but I do like the idea of sitting in a bustling outdoor garden in Paris to get my work done.
