The Best Roof-Top Garden in NYC – For Sale!

Wow — for $4.5 million (give or take) this could be yours!

New York City NYC rooftop garden

This lush rooftop is part of a penthouse apartment that is  in a building just down the block from the famed Chelsea Hotel.  It is accessed through the master bathroom, past a walk-in closet, and out a glass door.   1,600-square-feet of secret gardens that includes  covered seating areas, day beds, storage sheds, and a dining table with views in both directions. City living can be tough, but with this kind oasis tucked away beyond the toilet, I think I may have found my Shangri-la.

Hi, I'm Rochelle and for 18 years I have worked as a landscape designer, author/writer, and design teacher. I've designed residential and hospitality (for hotels, restaurants, and spas) gardens across the USA and in the UK, Europe and the Middle East. After many years of teaching garden design topics in person, I launched the PITH + VIGOR Boot Camp series in early 2018. Through my blog, social media, and online courses (Garden Design Bootcamp and Planting Design Boot Camp) I aim to help homeowners learn how to confidently design and create home gardens that reflect their own personal and unique style.

That looks lovely but no thanks. No more city life for me. Even if that city life does come with a garden.

Probably shouldn’t tell the public, within a block, exactly where a rooftop garden is. I found the address on google maps in seconds.
