Give the Gift of a Magazine-Worthy Garden full of Beautiful Healthy Plants

Inspire someone you love with the gift of learning.
Why? Because a beautiful garden doesn't just happen...

Garden Design and Gardening are two very different things!
Do you expect a farmer to be a great chef?
No, you don't.
We understand that the skills to grow vegetables, and produce basic food products is unique from being able to gather a small set of ingredients together and create a fantastic dish.
The chef that puts it all together is a designer, and the farmer is a gardener.
They work together - and sometimes farmers are great chefs (and likewise chefs, good farmers).
But one does not imply the other.
It is the same with garden design - even though you are a great gardener, it doesn't mean you are a master chef.
The Garden Design and Planting Design Boot Camp Series teaches beginner to advanced gardeners how to also be garden designers.
(AKA - Masterful Chefs)

Past Boot Camp students share where they would be if they had not enrolled in the course and this is what they said:

Your Teacher:

Hi, I'm Rochelle Greayer and for 18 years I've worked as a landscape designer, author, writer, and design teacher.
I've designed residential and hospitality (for hotels, restaurants, and spas) gardens across the USA and in the UK, Europe and the Middle East. After many years of teaching garden design topics in person, the PITH + VIGOR Boot Camp series launched in early 2018.
Through my blog, social media, and online courses (Garden Design Bootcamp and Planting Design Boot Camp) I help homeowners confidently design and create home gardens that reflect their own personal and unique styles.
Good planting is hard - it requires an immense amount knowledge about individual plants, as well as design. Conceiving of a plan that could involve many different types of plants in a large and varied area is beyond the mental capacity of normal humans. (Including and especially me).
I've been a gardener all my life and a professional garden designer for 18 years. But it wasn't until I'd been practicing design for many years that I was able to evolve strategies and a repeatable system that makes it much easier. Now, I use it to design gardens that I know will be beautiful and successful. It makes it a whole lot easier to get it right every time. And that is what I will be teaching you.
In this class I will teach you my easily repeatable system for creating stylish, base gardens and detailed planting plans that work. It doesn't matter where you live. And it doesn't matter what your personal style is (in fact, this class will help you figure that out too).
When and How long is the Class?
Lessons will be posted on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays throughout the course. There will be 7 live sessions (typically held on Saturdays - they are tentatively scheduled for 02/02/19, 02/09/19, 02/16/19, 02/23/19, 03/09/19, 03/16/19 and 03/23/19) where students can join a live cast to get their individual questions answered. These will be recorded in case you miss them and want to watch them at another time. You will also have opportunities to submit questions ahead of the live events.
How are classes taught?
This class will be taught with a mix of video, screencasts, audio recordings, written lessons and downloadable reference guides and worksheets. In addition to being online, all materials can be downloaded and saved offline for personal use.
What will be taught?
Garden Design Boot Camp teaches students how to establish a Master Plan (for example, usage areas, paths, patios, and generally, the overall design). Planting Design Boot Camp takes the next step in the design process and teaches how to create stunning planting schemes that will make your garden the prettiest and most successful on the block.
Do I need any special class materials?
Live sessions will be conducted with Zoom and video of the sessions will be posted to the class website for later viewing. You do not need an account with zoom to participate, but fair warning - the great thing about Zoom is that we can all see each other and have a class wide conversation face to face (i.e. there is video!). If you don't have a camera on your computer or you don't want to get out of your PJ's to participate - that is 100% ok - you are more than welcome to participate with the video turned off. We will still be able to see your name and hear your voice should you have a question or input during the session.
Graph paper (I recommend 11" x 17" or A3 paper but if you don't have large planting areas then you may be able to get away with 8.5" x 11" or A1).
A simple circle template is optional - but very useful.
Pencils and a camera (your phone camera is perfect).
After you register, you will receive a welcome email that will also include links to where to get apps and supplies.
