A Mousie Thank You

Being nominated for three Mouse and Trowel Awards was in itself an overwhelmingly flattering experience, but what came next was beyond extraordinary.  When I told you about being nominated sooooo many of you responded with the kindest notes.  I have archived all of them and will, on my most de-motivated days re-read them, because they fill me up.  Many of you I had never heard from before, and I was astounded by your support in my little moment of glory.  I can’t describe how much your words of encouragement mean to me.

Over on facebook where I keep in touch with my family and friends, I made a sort of lame mention that if I were to win, I would provide ‘red carpet’ photos….well in keeping my promise… here is a little red carpet garden inspiration….. because thanks to you I won Best Garden Design Blog, Best Blog Design and came runner up to Our Little Acre for Garden Blog of the Year.   Thank you so much for voting for me!

Hi, I'm Rochelle and for 18 years I have worked as a landscape designer, author/writer, and design teacher. I've designed residential and hospitality (for hotels, restaurants, and spas) gardens across the USA and in the UK, Europe and the Middle East. After many years of teaching garden design topics in person, I launched the PITH + VIGOR Boot Camp series in early 2018. Through my blog, social media, and online courses (Garden Design Bootcamp and Planting Design Boot Camp) I aim to help homeowners learn how to confidently design and create home gardens that reflect their own personal and unique style.

Congrats!! I love your blog and visit daily for inspiration. As a landscape architect who spends too much time in front of the computer, it’s nice to have a little visual reminder of why I love this job.
