Weekend Things

turquoise wall planters from my sunny garden in bangalore india

Even though vacation doesn’t start til next week, I think my mind has already gone there.  Has that happened to you before?  All I can think about it travelling and crossing off ‘to do’ items is becoming increasingly difficult.   It’s like suddenly the only thing that I can successfully get my head around is getting a pedicure and sorting out doggie daycare.

Regardless of my distraction…these things caught my attention this week.  I hope you enjoy them too.

This brought a tear to my eye.

-Pretty beach art.

Dog Garden.

Seeing Small is interesting.

-Love all the new outside ‘pieces’ that Banksy has posted. (keep clicking image to see them all)

-I tried a new new twist on jamming.  This is my next preserving adventure.

Edibles I previously didn’t know.

Above image is in a garden designed by Bangalore, India based design company My Sunny Balcony.  Mr. ‘g’ and I are dreaming about taking the kids to India next year….my wanderlust never ends.   You got any good trips planned?   I would love to hear about them.

Have a good weekend.

Hi, I'm Rochelle and for 18 years I have worked as a landscape designer, author/writer, and design teacher. I've designed residential and hospitality (for hotels, restaurants, and spas) gardens across the USA and in the UK, Europe and the Middle East. After many years of teaching garden design topics in person, I launched the PITH + VIGOR Boot Camp series in early 2018. Through my blog, social media, and online courses (Garden Design Bootcamp and Planting Design Boot Camp) I aim to help homeowners learn how to confidently design and create home gardens that reflect their own personal and unique style.
