Eggling plants and pocket gardens

A quick follow up on the pocket gardens that I posted about in Dec. …you can get them at Branch (in the USA) — and they also the have these adorable egg planters…a perfect winter pick me up for the gardener.

Eggling lavender

To plant: gently tap with a spoon to break open the top of the egg. Water the enclosed soil (in which the seeds are already embedded), and place the egg in the sun. Soon you’ll have a miniature lavender garden!
