Autumn Dried plums by ingrid of spring and summer

Let me introduce you to Ingrid.  Her blog called Of Spring and Summer is a lovely collection of her photography, and garden related art and design.

Ingrid is a fellow English Gardening School Alumni, about which I can only say – I am glad she wasn’t in my class….her plant portfolio (with obviously amazing photography) would have put mine to shame and would have blown any grading curve.

I selected some of her recent images to share with you because they are just so in the spirit of the season.  Burnished leaves, gourds, berries, twigs, seed pods, nuts and even rotting fruit are images of autumn in the garden that she captures so beautifully.

Ingrid’s Blog is worth a visit for not just photographic inspiration, but also for a view of her viewpoint as a Swedish gardener, designer and photographer who is married to an American and is living in London.
