Hear Ye! Hear Ye!
I am a little distracted this week and this is why…..this Saturday is May Day — the celebration of nature and in observance of the ancient spring festival of the Beltane the Harvard Farmers Market is hosting the Second Annual Scavenger Hunt. It’s a decidedly over 18 event that pits team against team to gather the most items, camera images and puzzle answers in 3 1/2 hours. It’s sheer chaos for the participants when the guns go off at 4:30pm this Saturday and up until that time my life is chaos — as the organizer. If you are in the central MA/ Boston/ Southern NH region, and want to participate, I can promise you a great time. Download the registration forms here .
So this week might be a little light and scattered on the posting….I am simply (more than) a little overwhelmed. I am trying to get this and perhaps one other post up before running off to meet a client and then to the costume store to get my outfit the event (it is the festival of the Beltane after all) — I can’t wait to wear flowers in my hair.
Here are the Event Details – everyone is invited:
4:00 pm final registration Billiards Cafe, Main St. Ayer, MA
4:30 pm guns go off — hunt begins
8:00 pm hunt ends at Ayer Billiards Cafe
8:01 – ?? Judging, Food, Drinks, Billiards, Raffle and live music by Pandemonium (come by for the after party even if you can’t make the hunt)
And if you can’t support the market by attending the event and want to help out with our only annual fundraiser….please consider making a donation. Without financial support from the community, the market cannot continue to survive and thrive. Donations can be sent to:
HARVARD FARMERS’ MARKET
P.O. BOX 307

It’s all about Peace, Love and Good Food — I hope you can come — Rochelle (May Queen)
