I have been playing around with colors and pulling together inspiration boards plants in each shade.  While the images don’t all agree, these are a handful of favorites and interesting new things to try in the shade of hot pink.  What is your favorite hot pink plant?  I would love to add it to the collection.

  1. Laurie Brown says:

I think my new favorite hot pink plant is that heuchera! But former favorites are Rosa gallica officinalis and lychnis coronaria.

  2. private says:

I was thinking about a hot pink bed under a tree by the front door with foxglove candy mountain, bleeding heart candy heart. Also pink hyacinth and renown tulip, and anenome blanda pink star, and astilbe europa and colchicum. For winter structure, small pink azaleas would do well, but need trimming in this bed. Maybe Bergenia cabernet or heuchera. The tree might be yellowwood, so very shady. Coleus ms harding and impatiens, too.
