Cinco de Mayo & Mexican Garden Inspiration

It’s so late in the day, I know.  But before you slip off to sleep (and me too), let me fill your head with a little Mexican Garden inspiration in honor of Cinco de Mayo. It’s so interesting to me that nearly no one here in New England is aware of this holiday, but back home in Colorado, I am not sure how you could NOT know.  It makes me happy that our country still has some regionalism.

I love the colorful vibrance of the south of the border look but even the more subdued Oaxaca Botanic garden (with it’s cisterns, cool mix of materials, and highly organized cacti.) is an inspiring version of Mexican garden style.
