A Plug for Plenty

February 17, 2012

Plenty by Yotam Ottolenghi at www.pithandvigor.com

Oh, I am so excited, I just saw that Ottolenghi’s cookbook was recently released.   I have to share with you that nothing makes me happier…as I love, love, love this place.  Back in my London days, I remember when this place opened just up the street from our Notting Hill flat.  I quickly discovered the wonderful macaroons (I have eaten more of these than I care to admit) and then all the other amazing dishes.    Oh Joy!! — I haven’t even seen the book in person yest, but I am so sure it will be wonderful….and now I can make their food at home…..Yeah!!

I’ve never been to London or his restaurant, but I’ve had that cookbook for a couple months. Full of delicious sounding recipes. So far I’ve only made the eggplant on the cover, and a baked egg recipe with garlic yogurt that was to die for. Yum, so good. Definitely buy it!
